It was around this time that the gods decided that the best way to make Lord Shiva fall in love with Parvati was to approach Kamadeva. After all, who would be better than the God of Love himself to help them in the matter! So Lord Indra made his way to Kamadeva’s abode and narrated the entire story, ‘Lord we need your help. Lord Shiva is oblivious to Parvati who is serving as his maid.
