For inside curves, an oscillating spindle sander does a marvelous job of cleaning up the saw marks. In a pinch, you can also use a sanding drum chucked in your drill press. hot tip Instant Drum Sander For a quick drum sander, make a 2″ cut lengthwise in a ½″ dowel. Then insert a strip of sandpaper. Chuck the whole mess in your drill press.
