About the Author/Illustrator Mira Wasserman has been rabbi of Congregation Beth Shalom in Bloomington, IN since her ordination from Hebrew Union College in 1998. She enjoys studying and teaching the stories of the ancient rabbis and creating some of her own. She and her husband, Steve Weitzman, have two sons, Yosef Gavriel and Hillel Adar. This is Mira’s first book. Christine Mannone Carolan, a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook, taught and raised a family before returning to Pratt Institute and graduating with a degree in illustration.
